Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN) successfully launched its new series of community talks, “FSHN Community Talks,” with a focused event on breast cancer awareness. Held on October 8th at the Fawsec Campus, the event featured renowned experts from FSHN: Katarzyna Skomorowska, Dr. Hana Rogalewiczova, and Dr. Ayesha Kamal. Our special guest speaker was Dr.Nouralhuda Karmani, Consultant Breast Radiologist.
The inaugural event attracted a significant number of attendees eager to learn about breast cancer prevention, post-operative care, and mental health support. Participants engaged in insightful discussions with the experts, gaining valuable knowledge about risk factors, prevention measures, rehabilitation techniques, and coping strategies.
“We were delighted by the overwhelming community response to our first community talk,” said Yasmine Kamal, Operations Manager at FSHN. “It underscores a growing interest in improving health and well-being, and we are committed to providing accessible and informative events to meet this demand.”
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, FSHN is dedicated to making these community talks accessible to everyone. The events are free and open to the public. This monthly series of health talks will be held every second Tuesday of the month at Fawsec Campus, offering a valuable platform for individuals to connect with experienced clinicians and gain insights into a variety of health topics.
By providing valuable health information and fostering community engagement, FSHN aims to contribute to the physical and mental health of individuals and families throughout Kuwait.
