This role involves providing essential in-home care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and ambulation.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse.
- Aid in meal preparation and assist patients with feeding as necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with the use of medical equipment as directed by the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Nursing diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a home health or related healthcare setting.
