Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network Empowers GUST Students with Mental Health Awareness

Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental well-being, partnered with Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) to host a successful Mental Health Day from October 29th to 31st. The event aimed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage open dialogue about mental health issues among university students.

The three-day event featured a variety of interactive and engaging activities designed to resonate with young adults. Students actively participated in mental health trivia and art therapy activity: painting by prompt. These activities provided a safe and supportive space for students to learn about mental health, express their emotions, and develop coping strategies.

The overwhelming response and enthusiastic participation from GUST students demonstrated the pressing need for mental health awareness and support on college campuses. FSHN's collaboration with GUST was a significant step towards creating a more mentally healthy and compassionate community.
