I am a licensed psychologist in the field of integrative and couples / family therapy, a psychotraumatologist (trauma therapist) and occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience. Throughout my career I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, mental clinics, educational institutions, private practice and conducted workshops, all in various countries. My 19 years of international experience, perspective and exposure to diverse cultures enable me to connect with clients of all kinds of ages and backgrounds, ensuring a compassionate and inclusive therapeutic environment.
I have extensive experience in working with anxiety and stress, phobias and OCD, depression, trauma, developmental trauma, PTSD, ADHD, eating disorders, behavioral disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, self-esteem and identity, life transition, behavioral issues in adolescence, family/couple conflicts, chronic illness and pain, workplace issues, anger management, cultural shock and adaptation difficulties.
I employ an array of techniques in my work, tailoring every treatment to individual needs. This involves combinations of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), humanistic, psychodynamic and systematic approaches as well as cross cultural, schema and play therapies and mindfulness. Having completed an MA in Education prior to my path in psychology, I also hold a unique perspective and understanding when working with children and teenagers. Equipped with such diverse expertise, a comprehensive approach and a passion for empowering my patients in reaching their therapeutic goals, I can thus effectively address a wide range of mental health needs.
