I hold a Bachelor of Science and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Beirut, Lebanon, and I am currently pursuing a master’s in women’s health. As a licensed physiotherapist, I have been exposed to a large variety of settings, therapeutic techniques, and conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders (both pre and post surgeries), posture-related neck and low back pain, calcaneal spurs, shoulder tendinitis, knee pain, tendon tears, and orthopedic. My special interest in women’s health has led me to engage in many related courses, including the Australian physiotherapy Association Certificate level 1. Drawing on my knowledge and experience, I can help women with a broad array of issues, including the complaints related to pregnancy, delivery and breastfeeding, dysmenorrhea (painful period), diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles – usually after pregnancy), pelvic pain, dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), and urinary incontinence. I also have a particular passion for helping children with developmental motor delays, fascial palsy, brachial plexus injuries, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, posture-related or idiopathic scoliosis, hip dysplasia, and congenital disorders. In addition to my experience in many therapeutic interventions (particularly dry needling and manual therapy), I also completed a training course in hydrotherapy.
