Allen Erheim is a Certified Canadian Counsellor at FSHN, working with individuals and couples, and groups of all ages, implementing a client-centered approach. Allen also employs a number of therapeutic approaches that include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), short-term solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and communication therapy.
He has worked with middle and high school students in both Kuwait and Canada, focusing on character building and leadership training through education and sports. Previously, as a student counselor at George Brown College in Toronto, Allen worked with students diagnosed with a mental illness, or who were struggling with substance abuse issues. He has also worked as a therapist for a private counseling practice in Toronto, focusing on depression, self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, and couples therapy.
Allen is Canadian educated, receiving his Bachelor’s in Psychology, with a minor in business, from York University and an advertising diploma from Seneca College, both in Toronto. He earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, New Brunswick and is fluent in both English and Arabic
