I am a Canadian-trained physical therapist with over 22 years of experience in clinical practice, management, and consulting. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 2002, and began my career at Daniels Kimber Physiotherapy, one of Western Canada’s largest multidisciplinary clinics. During this time, I pursued advanced certifications, including Medical Acupuncture from the University of Alberta, postgraduate training in Beijing, China, and Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Orthopedic Division of Canada.
In 2009, I relocated to Kuwait and joined the Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute (now Fawzia Sultan Health Network), a not-for-profit organization, where I served as a physiotherapist and later as Director of Physiotherapy and Clinical Lead. I contributed to the clinic’s growth and reputation, establishing it as a leader in multidisciplinary care within Kuwait's private healthcare sector. I then joined the Diversified Integrated Sports Clinic (DISC) in Kuwait as Operations Manager and Medical Director, collaborating with DISC Dubai to establish a luxury physiotherapy clinic from 2018 to 2020.
At the end of 2020, I left Kuwait during COVID and transitioned to consulting, teaching, and advising rehabilitation clinics internationally in Kuwait, Bermuda, Germany, and Spain.
I returned to Kuwait at the end of 2022 to rejoin the Fawzia Sultan Health Network as Director of Rehabilitation Services. In this role, I oversee comprehensive rehabilitation services, including occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and exercise therapy for pediatrics and adult rehabilitation. I am a dedicated mentor and leader, focusing on organizational growth, fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, enhancing team dynamics, and delivering exceptional care to the community.
