About our Physiotherapy Services
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that aims to identify a patient’s functional needs, and apply individualized treatment plans to restore, enhance and/or maintain mobility. The ultimate goal of physiotherapy is pain free function; whether after an injury or surgery, during sports and exercise, whilst performing daily living tasks, or during recreational activities and work duties – as well as the prevention of injuries across all these areas of daily life.
Regardless of the issue or condition, our physiotherapists work to develop specialized and individualized treatment plans, created after conducting a thorough health history and biomechanical assessment. During these assessments, our physiotherapists will ask a patient a series of questions to enable them to construct a complete medical history and background, determine current complaints and problems, and identify appropriate treatment goals.
Our physiotherapists use a variety of treatment methods including but not limited to:
Manual therapy, Myofacial Release, PNF, NDT-Bobath, Sensory Integration, Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Therapy with tools
Dry Needling, Acupuncture, Taping, Traction, Cupping, IASTM
Electrotherapy, Electrostimulation, Ultrasound Therapy, Shock Wave Therapy, Intermittent Pneumatic Compression
